Jyotsna is a Co-founder at Enmasse, and Managing Partner at Elevar Equity. Jyotsna leads the Enmasse team and its vision to globalise the story of Entrepreneurial Households, showcasing their innovativeness and vibrancy. A field visit in 1999 to Jhansi as a teenager visiting rural households was a moment of epiphany and shaped her career trajectory. 

Joining Elevar in 2011 was the first concrete step towards bringing together her personal passion for Entrepreneurial Households and her professional background in building retail businesses. Today at Enmasse, when she tells the story of economic change across small towns and cities in India, the tale is an extension of that visit to Jhansi and the hundreds of visits since across the length and breadth of India. The insights gathered from her fieldwork have profoundly shaped her understanding of what it takes to build transformational businesses from the ground up. 

Jyotsna’s twenty years of experience spans growth equity, business finance, distribution strategies for core products and services, and impact investing. She is a pivotal figure in leading Elevar’s India investment team, forging close partnerships with entrepreneurs as they build and scale transformational business models in sectors such as agri supply chains, MSME services, affordable education and quality healthcare.  

Before her tenure at Elevar, Jyotsna was a part of HSBC, where she worked closely with the bank's leadership in India across various roles. She is a Commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, and holds an MBA from the SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. Jyotsna is also a Chartered Financial Analyst^®.
