Kartik is a Co-Founder of Enmasse and leads data initiatives. Kartik's aim is to bring out the economic vibrancy of Entrepreneurial Households, on their behalf. His insight into data is critical to Enmasse’s vision to create strategy that is based on the facts on the ground, rather than outdated top down models or subjective perspectives.
Over the last 25 years Kartik has been deeply involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, both as an operator building and growing multiple start-ups, as well as a venture capital investor in the global tech space. He has deployed his expertise in product building, business development, analytics, design thinking, and technology strategies in shaping data at Enmasse.
Prior to Enmasse, Kartik was Co-founder at Adori Labs where he helped create patented technology that transforms audio to deliver real-time engagement. In 2005, Kartik established Zephyr Peacock India, a venture capital fund that focused on emerging Indian enterprises, where he played a pivotal role in supporting rapidly growing small businesses across multiple sectors. Previously he was part of the investment teams at Ventureast TeNet, a first of its kind incubation VC fund that focused on technology solutions for rural India, and at Toucan Capital a US based seed stage fund that commercialised deep tech. He began his career in 1995 as a data engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory analysing and visualising the Solar System. In the late 90s, he took his first step as an entrepreneur founding one of the earliest internet driven transaction processing companies in India focused on family businesses.
Kartik graduated with a Masters in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2003. He obtained a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from Drake University in 1996. He passionately explores space, cinema, architecture, and cuisine.
