With thirty-seven years of experience, spanning significant roles at renowned global organisations like HSBC, UBS, ING and ANZ Grindlays, Ravi has witnessed and been part of the transformation of India’s economic landscape.

Throughout his career, Ravi has led large teams across multiple functions, including investment management, capital markets , corporate finance, cash management and corporate banking. This breadth of experience equips him with a deep understanding of the sector's complexities and the opportunities for innovation and growth. One of his key roles was as CEO of HSBC Asset Management (India), a leading provider of asset management services to retail and institutional clients in India. He led the USD 425 Mn acquisition of L&T Investment Management and the successful integration with HSBC Asset Management, cementing the entity into a leadership position. 

Ravi Menon's professional journey in financial services traces back to his roots in Mumbai, where his early life was shaped by the values of a first-generation Malayali family. His pursuit of excellence led him to prestigious institutions, BITS Pilani and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in banking and financial services. 

Ravi and his wife Beena became proud grandparents recently. Beena, his MBA classmate, runs a destination marketing business and their children Vikramaditya and Nayanatara are both pursuing careers in private equity.
